What Project Is Designed to Improve/Purchase

Mills Park Family – Our school is only 5-years old and the mulch/grounds have not been groomed since the school opened in 2009.  We have a lovely school, but quite simply ALL of the mulch has washed away over the years and never replaced.  There is a lot of mulch that needs to be replaced that will give the school an impressive “new look” for the start of 2013-14 school.

How to Donate

First the great news – the mulch that we are purchasing is at-cost and the labor to do the work is provided for by the YMCA!  The Project will be completed over the summer.  But we still need your financial assistance.
 
You may use this site to donate online (note 4% of funds are kept by this site as a ‘project management’ fee) or send a check directly to Julea Danielson. (716 Quartz Crystal Place, Cary, NC  27519).

We need to raise approximately $3,500!!  Please assist with any $ amount donation for purchaing the truck loads of mulch that are needed.
All funds raised will be used to purchase the mulch and improve the grounds.

Why a Individuals  Doing the Fundrasing?

Budget cuts for the schools have erased most funding for school grounds.   Mr. Regan would like this project completed over the summer for the beginning of the next school year.  I will work with Mr. Regan and the YMCA over the summer to complete the project and keep you informed of our progress.

What's Next?

With a scheduled funding completion date of June  15th, we will then order the mulch, set up a delivery date YMCA teen groups will assist with spreading theh mulch and gaining their community service hours for school.
