Just as everything was looking bright and promising, our worlds came tumbling down in October 2011 when I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma - a rare type of cancer in this country that is behind the nose. On the same day we were also told it had already spread to the neck, collar bone, lymph nodes under both arms and lungs. I was told that I had probably had it at least 2 years already and that it was not curable. Devastating news, very hard to hear and life has been very difficult since, but looking at my two beautiful girls.... They keep me and my family going, and that's the reason were fighting this strong TOGETHER!
 
I'm Tom Cooper (26 yrs old) from Burnley, terminally ill with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma which has now spread and grown a lot in the neck, collar bone, lymph nodes, chest, lungs and finally now my brain.
The doctor said the lungs are full, and when I asked is it bad, he said yes! The tumour's are throughout the lungs and there's a lot of large ones and some tiny ones.
 
I'm married to my lovely wife Tammy and have two beautiful daughters called Ziani who is 3 and Tienna who is 6.
I have a bucket list which i would like to complete and my ONLY true wish is to see my daughter Ziani start school in september 2014.

Our goal is to get Tom to as many places as possible, Tom is due to start treatment soon and will be quite poorly.
