Hi I am Angelo Tolentino. This is my mom Milagros Jubilo.

She was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in December 2016. She is a happy and strong woman. Unfortunately, something happened to her. She had an accident at home. She was having dinner when she suddenly bumped her head to something hard. At first, she just ignored it and said there was no blood. However after a week, she experienced an unbearable headache. She asked me some medicine for her headache, but I was so shocked to see that her face got swollen.

I thought it was just the allergic reaction from the drug (mefenamic) that I gave her. We went and saw her doctor. Her doctor said she needs medical attention right away. I am writing because I want to ask for some financial assistance. I work as an EFL instructor, but my salary is not enough to support my mom's medical assistance.

According to her doctors, she had internal bleeding due to the accident. She experienced a difficulty in breathing because the swelling is already on her throat. If it might close, the doctors would cut her throat and put a tube. They decided to place her at MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit). They attached the tubes to the mechanical ventillator for her to breathe. Her doctor said she needed to undergo treatment for 14 days. Her medicines are so expensive. She doesn't have a health card and I am the only one who provides for her medical expenses.

I dislike asking help from anyone but now I am already desperate and my mother is more valuable than my pride. I really need to sustain her medical treatment so we can buy more time together. She has so much will to live, so I am begging everyone to please help me help her.
