Give something back this holiday season and donate what you can to our '12 Days of Migration Matters' fundraiser!

We have an exciting year ahead of us with not one but two projects on the go. To give our videos the audience they deserve, help us raise money for social media campaigns and extra content creation.

Just 5€ could help us reach an extra 50 people on social media!

For 10€, we can add subtitles in a new language to one video - a whole new audience to reach!

The first 20 people who donate 20 or more will receive a stylish Migration Matters tote bag as a thank you!

Migration Matters is a non-profit organization that was founded in January 2016 as a reaction to the so-called refugee-crisis. Our mission is to empower the public to have more nuanced, evidence-based, and solutions-oriented conversations about migration and diversity. We produce free bite-sized videos that complicate commonly held preconceptions with original ideas, research, and solutions-oriented perspectives from leading thinkers in the field: researchers, practitioners, as well as migrants and refugees themselves. Our videos are used in virtual exchange programs, university classrooms, teacher training programs, diversity workshops, digital journalism, social media campaigns, and more.

You can help us change the debate around migration by donating, informing your family and friends about Migration Matters, sharing our videos, and contributing your questions and ideas for future course topics to [email protected]. Let's #rethinkmigration together!

  • We need your help! After struggling with headaches, fatigue, nausea and vision problems and a few referrals between optometrist’s and specialists, Inge Airoldi was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Everyone who knows Inge can testify that she is one of the sweetest humans around with an amazing depth of character, a diagnosis like this is enough to send anyone off their orbit but she has remained incredibly strong and positive as seen in a message sent to her friend group: “……They say it’s gonna be a long process with surgery, chemotherapy, physio and loads more. We are not on a medical aid so it’s gonna cost a lot and we don’t have the money, but I know God will provide. Please pray for me, I’m positive and know I will overcome it, it’s gonna be a journey but I will be a survivor! God will help me through this. Please keep me in your prayers, I love you all so much" On the 31st of October Inge was transported to Cape Town in an ambulance where she will have the tumour removed by an experienced neurosurgeon. At this point it is hard to say the exact amount required but Inge has a long road. However, with prayers, love and financial support she may soon go back to finishing her final school exams, hanging out with her boyfriend and friends and dreaming for the future. If you can donate, please do. We will keep you all updated. Inge is such a stunning human who deserves love and support from far and wide!
