Mignon’s International Scholar Laureate Fund

Hi! My name is Mignon Black and I have been invited to the International Scholar Laureate Program which is to be held in Australia in May 2018.

I am about to start my 3rd year BSc Sport Science and Biokinetics at the University of Pretoria.

I have always been quite a bit of a bookworm and hard work over the years have paid off as this is an incredible opportunity to expand horizons and broaden my knowledge on an international level.

As a member of the Golden Key International Society, which is awarded to the top 15% of students per field of study, I have been invited to represent them, as well as the University of Pretoria, during this program. Here we will attend interesting lectures, take part in panel discussions and visit informative sites. This will also be an amazing networking opportunity where I will learn about other nations' perspectives on the field of Medicine and Science.

However, it is quite an expensive opportunity and therefore any donations, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated.

The cost include domestic flights in Australia, two meals per day, accommodation and the full course fee. International flights and visa costs are excluded.

Please help me to make this a reality and enable me to come back enriched, enlightened and equipped to plough back into my own country.
