Midwifery placement in Tanzania

What I'm hoping to do: I am looking for help funding a volunteering trip to Tanzania. Next February 2015, myself and another student midwife are planning to travel with an organisation called 'Work the World', for three weeks elective volunteer work in a maternity hospital. We have chosen to volunteer in Arusha, Tanzania. Price: The total to book with Work the World is £1640 excluding flights and as a student this type of money is really hard to come by! I know its alot of money but it is a once in a lifetime experience so making this page was worth a try! It's always been a dream of mine to practice midwifery in a third wolrd country.
