Microtia (Small ear) 3D printing project

Hello, My name is Rod, and I am a business Entrepreneur.  I also have what is called Microtia, which means little ear (I have included 2 pics of my ear).  It is a birth defect that not only can affect the shape of the outer ear or have no ear at all.  But the inner ear can be under-developed or undeveloped.  Microtia in one form or another affects about 1 in 9000 births world wide.  

My business idea is to pitch to ear specialists throughout the state where I live (Texas) with the idea of custom 3D printing of an ear.   My goal is to help anyone, but especially young kids with this.  As a kid I never liked getting haircuts, because it would show my ear.  And kids would stare, and sometimes they can say cruel things, even when they weren't intending to do so.   Although I turned out fine, kids can be emotionally traumatized by the stares, whispering, and teasing.  I would like to provide a chance to stop this.  

Although this is Phase 1, we would be considering coming back at a later time with the following outlined phases:

Phase 1: Raise initial capital to develop a business plan, create the LLC and website.  And to find other backing/stakeholders that might want to partner.  

Phase 2: Market in a number of ways such as Website call to actions, Social Media/Digital Marketing, as well as looking at email campaigns to spread the word to our contacts.  This is to locate ear specialists, and 3D printing agencies that we can partner for this cause.

Phase 3: Market directly to children patients whom this may help.  This would be done through active word of mouth through the medical community, Social Media campaigns (specifically YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+) to engage parents to see if our services can help.  It would be most ideal if the cause could raise enough funding (at that point it may be an on-going campaign if successful to this point) to allow children who may not have the adequate funds to get this done with no charge to the patient or their family.
