Please help Micis, the cutest and cuddliest cat ever! Micis and I have been together through thick and thin, traveling the world and never apart since we became a little family. We found each other six years ago in China when she was a stray cat. She was only a couple of months old and had been abandoned during one of the coldest winters in years. I came home from work, it was -12C and getting colder, and snow and even lowesr temperatures were the forecast for the night. She was in a corner of our building, soaked and tiny. I decided to let her stay at home "only for one night" and have never been apart ever since. She is the warmest, most loving, fluffiest cat and also my biggest support when I've needed it. After China and Spain, we moved to the UK where she has been her happiest since she finally had a garden and a little brother. They spend their days climbing trees and fences, hanging out with the neighbor cats, lying in the sun and playing together. I recently noticed Micis was not playing and was not her happy self. She shortly stopped eating at all and I took her to the vet. They run a million tests on her and finally discovered the problem was in her kidneys BUT it has a surgical solution. The surgery is an emergency procedure that cannot wait any longer. She has already been admitted to a wonderful clinic with amazing specialists that are working hard on getting her back to her playful, furry self.
Unfortunately, the surgery is quite expensive as well as the bills from her tests, staying at the hospital these days, medicines to stabilize her and alleviate the pain, etc. It is going to cost a total of 7,200 and I cannot cover all by myself. For this reason I would be eternally grateful for any support you can give, no matter how small, to help me cover Micis' bills.
The amount you see here (£7,200) includes tests, surgery, clinic costs for overnight monitoring, pain control and post-surgery care. Any exceeding amount (fingers crossed we raise enough!) will be donated to the RSPCA.
