Michi’s Sugery – Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Hello! My name is Michell Respicio and I just found out last Sunday (April 25, 2021) that I have gallstones in my gall bladder.

It started about 2-3months ago when my tummt started aching after eating at a carinderia en route to Manila. I was advised by my doctor to take Omeprazole for a month and then I was okay. I even went on a diet, eating only steamed food. When I was feeling better, I started eating processed food again. Then I noticed, I would throw up after eating and I always feel bloated.

Last Saturday (April 24, 2021) I woke up in the middle of the night because my tummy was aching. I got scared so the next morning I called my doctor and she said to take Omeprazole for another month. I asked her if i needed to go for a check up and she advised me to go for an ultrasound and there I found out about the gallstones.

The biggest stone is 1.6cm and no medication can help anymore. The gastrologist that I talked to said I need to have my gall bladder taken out. Hence, the surgery.
