Michele’s Medical Fees

My name is Taylor Urban, and I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. A few days prior to Thanksgiving, my mom, Michele, was admitted to Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia. She found out she had severe pancreantitis and needed her gall bladder removed immediately, subsequently needing more procedures. The first procedure, to remove the blockage, failed. During this procedure, the surgeons nicked her bile duct. She's now been transferred to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, where we hope she will recieve better care, and she awaits more procedures and at least another week in the hospital.

Any money raised will be used to help offset the extremly high hospital bills. I want to help alleviate this additional burden, as they're already helping me get through my first year of college. My mother is the most generous, caring woman I have ever met. She puts everyone else's needs before her own, and we would be so grateful to recieve even the slightest bit of help. Anyone who's had an extended hospital stay knows how excessive the bill is. I cannot express how thankful I would be, and how thankful my parents would be.

My family never asks for help from anyone because we take pride in knowing that we can do things for ourselves. Any little bit helps to get us through this time of need.
