Campaign Story
I am opening this campaign for my cousin, Michael Villagonza, 26 years of age (parents deceased), who was confined in one of the hospitals in Lapaz, Iloilo City after falling from the highway overpass last March 8, 2021. As per CT scan, his legs were broken and back thus needs a massive operation as soon as possible. The incident broke the hearts of many especially his siblings and an investigation is going on to know the motives behind it. However what is important now that he is alive, fighting for his life and has to recover soon. We believe that God is a God of second chances and we are here as a family will support Michael on his journey to healing. March 24 - Doctor advised for a massive operation
Update posted by Lachmi Lugsanay at 03:28 pmAs per the recent update, Michael has to undergo a CT scan and a major operation however due to insufficient funds the said operation was postponed. The family also has to decide if the operation has to be done in Iloilo City or in Agusan del Sur because further checkups. . . . .
March 20 - Vilma is in Iloilo to attend to Michael's needs
Update posted by Lachmi Lugsanay at 10:16 amMichael's elder sister arrived in Iloilo City to attend to Michael's needs. CT scan will happen soon and as per the doctor, a brace to support Michael's back is necessary. The family planned to bring Michael back to Agusan del Sur to continue his medication and proceed with the operation.
March 10 - Michael's 1st Operation (minor)
Update posted by Lachmi Lugsanay at 07:58 amOne of our relatives (Kuya Earl), head to Iloilo immediately to attend to the needs of Michael. Doctor has to conduct an operation on his legs which was hit hard after the fall from the overpass. As per x-ray, his back bone was lessen to 20cm from 25cm.
