Michaela climbs Kilimanjaro

On 29th December 2015 just as I say goodbye to my 20's I will be taking on the massive challenge of hiking the highest free standing mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro! I am doing this as a personal challenge and have paid for flight & the climb etc myself. However I am also hoping to raise some funds for two charities which are close to my heart.

CAPAA Autism is a local charity providing much needed support, comfort and unity for children, young people & adults in the south down area. The organisation was recently made homeless when they had to vacate their base at Downshire hospital site. Macmillan provide vital support, comfort and hope to cancer patients and their families at what is often a devastating time in their lives. Without voluntary donations Macmillan would not have the capacity to provide the practical and emotional support they are renowned for.
