Hi! We are the Forensics Team from Morristown High School, in Morristown New Jersey.
Forensics is an organization that promotes public speaking education through speech and debate formats, helping students to become effective communicators, critical thinkers and engaged members of our society.
The Morristown High School Forensics team is a small group of highly motivated students who are passionate about politics, social issues, literature, and of course, talking. We compete in tournaments throughout our home state of New Jersey, and each year in February we have the opportunity to attend the Harvard Debate and Speech Tournament. This tournament is, in many ways, the culminating event of our season. It is where we get to go up against some of the best teams in the nation. Morristown students will compete in Public Forum debates, as well as a wide variety of speech events including Original Oratory, Dramatic Performance and Duo Interpretation.
The Harvard trip is very exciting and we are all looking forward to it! We would like to take as many members of our team to compete in this event as possible but it is very costly. In previous years we were able to pay for this trip on our own, but this year our membership has tripled and we need YOUR help.
Any amount you can donate, a few pennies or dollars, will help support our organization and help send as many of us as possible to the Harvard Debate and Speech Tournament!
Thank you for your support,
The Morristown High School Forensics Team!
