Single Mother to Start Own Marketing Consultancy

Being a "single mother" is not to be considered a disability. Single mothers can actually build stronger empires and create more sturdy business niches. They are just victims of unfortunate events, misalligned government, very low compensation, and judgmental public. These are the barriers for our growth, not only for single mothers like me but anyone with an entrepreneural dream.

I, for one. I have a business and entrepreneurship degree from the university, the needed skills and experiences I got from my employers, the strong network and business relationships I was able to build from selling and marketing other nations' products, feasible ideas for better and cost-saving marketing options that SMEs and even Non-Profit Organizations here in the Philippines can benefit from, and the determination to not just be a Sles and Marketing strategist for someone's company but for my own. What's stopping me?

Wages and benefits here in the PH are not enough, especially when you are taking care of a 4-year old boy who just entered preschool, gastric problems and a few lumps in the intestines from skipping one-too-many meals during area visits or doing endless quotations for RFQs with impossible deadlines, occasional urinary tract infections from holding pee for too long while battling traffic on the way and going back from client sales calls, and underactive sometimes overactive thyroid hormones given by my mother who received it from her mother as well. All these things eat up the paycheck. I wanted to start my dream of putting up a Marketing Consultancy firm since forever but with no additional funds, this dream will only be ideas and nothing more.

I was just browsing through the internet one day while doing market research when I saw this site that might help give my son a better future, and others that might benefit from my guts. Why not try it? Others already realized their dreams through your help. And so now I am not just HOPING but actually BELIEVING that it's not just having husbands that can make us single mothers whole and functional. The whole world can also make our dreams come true.
