Campaign Story
Hi, I'm Mew and yes, my pawrents did name me after a Pokemon.
At first they were my foster family, but on January 5, 2022, they officially adopted me. I thought that I was the luckiest cat alive, but one year later, to the day, on January 5, 2023 they found out that I was FIP positive and their world collapsed. I was so close to cross over the rainbow but the best ladies from organization "Brave Snouts", Miss T. & Miss N. helped me with the cure for FIP and saved my life because I was in critical condition and I would not make it through the night.
My pawrents adopted me & my sister Lilith from that same organization.
The organization is run by two beautiful ladies, Miss T. and Miss N.
In this way, my pawrents and I also want to help them in their fight for other sick and abandoned cats with the aim of making it easier for them to continue their work, since it is a non-profit organization.
There are also three more kittens with FIP in "Brave Snouts" who also need your help so this is a big collaboration between my pawrents and them!
FIP or Feline infectious peritonitis is an important disease of domestic cats. It occurs worldwide in cats of all ages, but the disease is most common in young cats less than two years of age. Although FIP is not a particularly common disease, it is important because once a cat develops the disease, the outcome is almost invariably fatal.
The treatment lasts 84 days, during which my mom and dad have to give me medicine injections every day, and the price of the medicine ranges from 35€ - 60€ per bottle. But luckily they can cover cost of my treatment or big parto of it.
At the beginning they thought that Lilith & I would only be temporary with them, but it was the love at first sight! And that is how they became proud pawrents of the two of us.
In the meantime, I got another brother and his name is Mango, so now there are three of us :).
You know all those stereotypical stories about cats thinking only of themselves and doing whatever they want just to make your life miserable? Well, I'm the opposite of that. I am the biggest sweetheart and very attached to my pawrents and my siblings.
Until recently, I was very playful and full of life with a constant need for attention, and I never left dad's lap while he was working.
Therefore, we ask you once again to help other FIP warriors from the "Brave Snouts" with the smallest possible donation.
"Brave Snouts" depends on the voluntary financial donations of people like you.
EACH euro counts and you can transform the lives of so many cats and dogs!
Thank you very much from me, Lilith, Mango, my pawrents Ariana and Martin
& BIG kisses and hugs from other FIP Warriors and all other cats from the "Brave Snouts"!
Love, Mew.

Mew is so much better. He eats again, cuddles AND most importantly, sleeps on his dad's lap while he works. Lots of kisses & hugs from Mew
