Campaign Story
On behalf of my loving mother we are reaching out to kind hearted people that are willing to give assistance for her medical bills.
My mother, Lalaine Catubag, was rushed to the ER from a sudden episode of vomiting due to pancreatitis on January 9. It was later discovered that her liver is enlarged and growths are also found on the organ. Further biopsy results confirm that the growths contain metastatic cancer cells. Her liver and kidneys are starting to fail causing her to have jaundice. Breathing also started to become difficult as her organs started to swell, pushing her diaphragm towards her lungs. She also had a mild case of pneumonia that is starting to heal. Her blood also shows infections and is containing strains of E. Coli.
My mom works as a hard-working daycare assistant where she helps teachers during classes and helps kids get home safely by assisting them on the bus ride home. She loves all the children in her charge as if they are her own. She provides for her own three children as much as she can as they are currently studying.
Despite all the suffering she is facing, she tries to be strong for her children. She tries to talk as much as she can even though it is very difficult for her. Whenever she is asked if she can still handle it she always responds with "Kaya pa." in an assuring tone, which means "I still can." in Filipino.
We ask any kind hearted people to assist us in her bills that are currently at 400,000 PHP(~8000 USD) but will increase as she is currently stationed in the Intensive Care Unit. The medicine she takes costs the most as strong antibiotics are needed to treat her blood infection.
To all that will help we are eternally grateful as any amount of help does wonders.

Bank transfers are also possible. Just send an email and we can sort things out.
UPDATE:
With a heavy heart, I would like to inform everyone that she did not survive. Thank you all for the donations as they helped her ease her passing. But we still need help. We still have a lot to pay for her medical bill. We call to any kind souls who are willing to give my mom a proper burial. Any amount will do.
Thank you very much.
