We are a community of 16 movement artists joining forces on a self funded project to put actions behind our words to be the change that we want to see in the world. The string that ties us together is the power of healing through play and we intend to bring light to all that cross our paths, regardless of their circumstance. We are building a choreographed performance piece en route that will bring a message of light and consciousness and the Metamorphosis that we as individuals take, as well as drawing a parallel to the physiological impact that such messages create in the psyche of the other and the global collective consciousness across.

Our metaphorical cocoon, Carmel the vintage 1965 GMC Superior bus [affectionately known as Camel] has been responsible for teaching us some of life’s greatest lessons in faith and trust while taking the road less traveled. The challenges that have been thrown our way have taught us about community, collective mindset and the power of intention. Her lessons have taught us to let go of the ego, listen to the signs, and support each other in healing from negative patterns that no longer serve us. We are only as strong as our weakest link and we are bringing this strength to people across the globe.

Of all, perhaps the greatest lesson is to be in the present moment. The past is history, the future is a mystery and the present is our reality. Surprise repair stops have seen us host impromptu workshops to local children, and have bought tears to grown men’s eyes with the parting words of “the world needs more people like you.” These affirmations reassure us that we are on the right path.

So if we are so fabulous, why do we need your help?

This is a self funded trip to make these dreams for the world a reality, coming straight out of our pockets. We would love to keep the tour going beyond the planned two months and your help can help spread our message further. Financial donations will help us:

• keep our beautiful Carmel on the road
• provide supplies to make toys and equipment for children in refugee camps and community centres
• provide equipment and costuming to enhance the captivating nature of our performance
• gift us with the opportunity to provide free performances in marginalised communities
• nourish our artists with natural foods

We like to see Momentom Collective as a movement; the movement of consciousness. It is a family, a tribe, a community. We believe that movement arts, mindful habits and a supportive community provides the potential to heal ourselves and inspire us to be the most authentic version of our selves. We are a core group of artists, illusionists, yogis, acrobats, dancers, social workers and weirdoes with the passion for movement arts and it’s social healing potential.

Estamos construyendo una representación coreografica en el camino que traerá un mensaje de luz y conciencia. Nuestro capullo metafórico, Carmel, el Autobús vendimia de 1965 GMC. Ha sido responsable de enseñarnos algunas de las lecciones más grandes de la vida, la fe & la confianza mientras montamos el camino menos viajado .

Creemos que los artes del movimiento, habitudes conscientes y una comunidad de apoyo proporcionan el potencial para sanarnos a nosotros mismos y inspirarnos a ser la versión más auténtica de nosotros mismos.

Somos un grupo central de artistas, ilusionistas, yoguis, acróbatas, bailarines, trabajadores sociales y payasos con la pasión por el circo y su potencial de cura social.

La lección más grande es estar en el momento presente. El pasado es historia, el futuro es un misterio y el presente es nuestra realidad.
