Welcome to the donation page we have set up for the Messbarger family! As you know, it seems that his cancer has gotten the upper hand. While we are all earnestly hoping and praying for healing, tumors to shrink, instead of grow...we are also thinking about how we can continue to bless our dear friends. All of the prayers and gestures of kindness shown thus far have been amazing. The Messbargers are incredibly thankful for the show of support they have received.
Here is our opportunity to continue supporting this family...
There are several organizations that specialize in granting wishes to families suffering from the effects of cancer. But, Mick’s unselfish heart wasn’t too interested in taking something that someone else could use. So, when some neighborhood friends came up with an idea to simply collect donations to send the Messbarger family on a trip together this summer, Mick was persuaded. He decided that taking the boys to the Wisconsin Dells over the 4th of July would be great. Also, some have suggested Mick and Amy have a getaway at some point. How great it would be –if friends and family could help make these things happen, without adding any additional financial burden on their family.
NOTE: goGetFunding requires we set a fundraising goal, so we set a goal of $50.00...but what we REALLY want is for friends and family to make ANY donation they want--and it will go straight to Mick and Amy.
