Helping Street Kids in Temporary Shelter

Help the street children get a better opportunity in life by providing them with school supplies to educate them, hygiene kit to keep them away from diseases, and new clothes to cover their fragile and young bodies.

Mother Theresa Foundation Inc. is a temporary shelter for street children who were rescued in the streets. It is located in Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. It offers counseling and Alternative Learning System to the kids. Sadly, the center does not have enough funds and support to provide all the children's needs.

I, along with my student org (PIIE-LDCUSC), decided to host a Christmas party for the kids, and to provide them with the necessities of life. We will be giving out school supplies, hygiene kits, and new clothes.

This project also aims to promote social awareness about street kids and mendicancy. We will post a video for the project when it is done.
