Croatia, as well as the rest of the world, is struggling with the pandemic of COVID-19. Croatia's capital Zagreb records the highest number of patients in comparison to the rest of the country.

In the most sensitive time in relation to pandemic development, just when the population adapted to the strict rules of behaviour, Zagreb was struck by an earthquake of 5.5 per Richter. This caused nearly 1 million people to leave their homes and hospital beds to be out on the cold until it was relatively safe to return.

Breach of guidelines and rules in relation to social distancing and personal hygiene was inevitable.

This has painted an entirely new picture regarding the spread of the virus and put an additional strain to the healthcare system.

This campaign aims to collect money to acquire protective equipment such as masks, gloves, coats etc. which are of the most importance in this fight with the pandemic.

Our doctors and nurses are on the front line and we need to protect them so they can protect us.

We would be grateful if you would help us with this.
