Meownistry of Cat’s Rescue Work

We are a mom-daughter team who have been rescuing cats off the streets of KL and Selangor since November 2014, albeit bickering quite a lot along the way >_<

We have helped about 30 cats so far, some currently residing in our cat sanctuary we built behind our house, some now with their forever moms & dads and unfortunately, some have lost the fight and have moved on to a better place. Taking in strays, while a lot of times can be extremely heartbreaking, most times it proves to be a hugely rewarding thing especially when you see your rescue recover from the most heartwrenching conditions.

However, rescuing strays has been quite erosive to our pockets, from food to litter to senses-numbing vet bills. We currently spend at least RM1000 per month on maintaining the cat sanctuary & its residents as well as feeding the regulars on the streets (which we sadly do not have the capacity to take in yet).

Our cat sanctuary currently houses 16 cats (some up for adoption) and makes an awesome place to hangout and destress, especially after a long working week. Donate just RM10 and you get to hangout with our superfriendly cats!

We are also looking to extend the cat sanctuary in the near term (depending on our finances) to include a sick bay, a viewing room and extra exploratory space for our resident cats. With the extension, we aim to bring in more strays from the streets so that prospective cat moms & dads can come over and adopt them! So if you want to help fund the extension, do let us know!!!
