Mental Illness will not Defeat my Family

Hello my name is Rachael. I am a single mother of 2 my son of which suffers from mental illness. He has been diagnosed with Paranoia Schizophrenia & Depression he hears voices, has had suicide attempt and has a hard time with social skills and just fitting in. We have tried to give him the best life possible considering the circumstances and me being a single mother. I have maintained very well over the years sometimes taking days off due to his issues and health because I had to make sure his care was top priority. Sometimes it got very hard but overall I feel we have been very blessed. Just recently his health took another turn for the worse and he was institutionalized for health reasons its very hard to allow your child to go through that unless it is for their best interest. He has had a few stays in mental institution but none ever this long I have tried to maintain my household work, go to online school and stay on top of everything that is going on. I recently used all the time I had at work that including any paid time and even though I know I can not afford to be without any finances I felt my child was more important than that. A place of employment does not understand anything other than you aren't there and I understand that they have a business to run. But I will never abandon my child and will continue to see he gets the help he needs no matter what. We have fallen on very hard times with this situation and I would like to ask anybody that is compassionate enough to understand to please help. I have spent cash that I had saved on paying bills in advance hoping our situation would be better by now and hopes that I wouldn't get behind. But as of today I am unable to pay this months rent, this months utilities, my sons prescriptions for this month, and am barely making it by with food. I have no idea what we are going to do at this point but I am releasing it all to a higher power in hopes we get the help we need some way or another. I thank you for reading God Bless
