Mental Health Treatment

Hello, my name is Mariah. I am starting this fundraiser for myself because although I have insurance, I still cannot afford the deductible for going to an inpatient mental health facility. This past week, I have realized that I urgently need to seek treatment for myself and for my future that I want to have.

I currently am going to college full-time while working full-time over the summer. I have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder about 10 years ago. In the past, I have visited 3 inpatient stress centers in the past and they have been extremely helpful. I have not had to revisit an inpatient program in about 4 years. I am taking medication and going to counseling, but lately, I have noticed that I need a more intensive treatment program to help me get back on track.

My insurance is asking for me to pay a deductible that just isn't possible for me to afford at this moment, but I feel like if I wait any longer, my mental health will just get worse. I wanted to try to reach out for support from family, friends, and strangers.

I want to live to be able to have an amazing future and live out my dreams. I feel like this treatment will help me get to the place where I need to be.

UPDATE:
Mariah is currently in the mental health facility and is slowly getting better. She still cannot afford the deductible for the facility, but it was essential for her to get help at this time.
