Mental Health Money Stopped for over a year

Hi All,

I'm creating this for a friend of mine who is going through really hard times. He is a 27 year old mental health patient who suffers from Depression and Anxiety. He has had this condition since he was young.

He was on the higher rate ESA (Employment Support Allowance) from the government after been medically tested. All was fine until in February of 2018 the DWP decided to cut his benefit due to not turning up to an appointment. This would be fine if he knew of the appointment but was in a mental health rehab when he had a breakdown. When his family heard of this, they called on his behalf to explain but the DWP refuse this even with the medical evidence and is currently awaiting a tribunal. They put the tribunal in last February 2018 and he is still waiting to be seen. The DWP have not paid him and he can not get JSA as he is too sick.

He risks loosing his home now and his mental stability is getting worse due to not having any financial help. If anyone can help by donating as much as possible, he would be ever so grateful and would make his life so much easier.
