My brother Dave was diagnosed with schizophrenia as an adult. He was hit by a drunk driver while riding his bike and almost died. By the Grace of God he survived and is doing well. But anyone that has ever experienced or has been around someone with this disability understand the hardships that is can bring; not only to the person but also the family. The disease makes the person isolated and hard to be around other people. He tried hard to interact with other people and go to college, but because he wasn’t medical diagnosed with schizophrenia until after he had dropped out of college, he did not get any benefits and still has to pay off his student loans. As a person who can only work part time, he is struggling. It is not fair how people with mental disabilities get treated and coming from “middle class” isn’t enough to give him the best care he deserves. Please help him with this financial burden that is not his fault!

Please use the this tool and get the word out to people about mental disibilties and their rights. They are peeople too and need support.

  • The money raised here will be used for Medical expenses, and college costs.
  • There is no amount that is “too little”, whether its $5 or $500!

Thank you for your kindness and open hearts.
