Menstrual Matters

The purpose of this Campaign is to provide 1,000 menstrual hygiene
comic books to 10 different schools in the Mazabuka District of Zambia.

Each school has a register of 500+ Adolescent girls who require

Menstrual education which is very much lacking in the Zambian
community due to various taboos and cultural misconceptions in the
community.

By providing 100 books to each of the 10 schools to keep for their sex
education classes we will be helping to change the stigma and
misconceptions surrounding menstruation in Zambia and empower over
5,000 girls PER YEAR through these books for many many more years to
come.

The books shall be donated to every respective school library to be
used during sex education classes and specific menstrual hygiene
awareness classes in the school taught by our Ministry of Health
Clinical Officer from Mazabuka General Hospital in Zambia.

Don Bosco Catholic School
Kaonga Secondary School
Changa Changa Community School

We shall be donating 100 books each time we receive a total of £500 in
donations which will allow for us to purchase and ship 100 copies of
the Menstrupedia Comic Book from our suppliers in India who are a
registered NGO.

This is a great way for us as an organisation and as a global
community to reach and empower thousands of vulnerable young girls in
Zambia with the right Menstrual education so that they can improve not
only their knowledge and hygiene but also academic attendance and
performance.

GREAT & EMPOWERING literature that keeps the girls engaged and
entertained whilst informing them with the potential to educate 50,000
girls over a 10 year period of the school library stocking this life
changing educational material.
