Campaign Story
Family Clinic in Daveyton raising funds to get menstrual cups for teenage girls.
Often these girls do not have the sanitary products needed while menstruating and cannot go to school.
A menstrual cup is a safe and healthy method of menstrual management which is able to change a young woman’s life.
Menstrual Cups can last a woman up to 10 years. They are also far more eco friendly than pads and tampons.Menstrual cups are easy to keep clean, requiring only a very small amount of water. Between uses, the cup is simply rinsed with clean water or wiped with a small clean towel. At the end of her period, the cup is sterilised by boiling it in water for five minutes.
