Memorial Fund to Help CWC Hollywood Family

On February 11, 2014, at a little before 8:00 in the morning, a mother and daughter were struck in the crosswalk directly in front of school as they headed to class. The 4th grade girl suffered minor injuries and will recover. Tragically her mom died at the hospital several hours later; the injuries she suffered while trying to protect her child were too massive. This mother leaves behind a husband, her 4th grader and an older daughter.

In addition to coping with their grief, the family will have to pay for funeral and medical expenses, as well as having to adapt to the economic reality of moving forward without their family's center.
