Ivan was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia on February 29, 1972. With restless energy and curiosity for life, Ivan Lobov
graduated with MS in Biology from Saint Petersburg University Russia and was awarded a Philosophy Doctorate in Biology at the Institute of Cytology, Russian Academy of Sciences in Saint Petersburg for his work on chromatin structure and gene expression. In 2000, Ivan Lobov

In the course of his prominent carrier Ivan authored several seminal publications and patents in ophthalmology and vasculogenesis, including a contribution to the Regeneron Eylea blockbuster for macular degeneration.
We, Ivan's friends and colleagues, will remember Ivan with tenderness and joy always.

About me:
I am an employee at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. Ivan was my supervisor for 10 years. He trained me on retinal developmental biology and the oxygen induced retinopathy model in mice. I was also very fortunate to be able to collaborate with him on a paper last year.
