Campaign Story
Many of you have heard that Judy passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 24, 2019. Judy was the most kind and loving woman I have ever met. As you can imagine, Judy's family is devastated and in complete shock trying to comprehend how life goes on without their best friend, soul mate, provider, counselor (this list could go on and on).
Judy leaves behind her Husband, Basil, children, Craig, Brad, and Jenny, 2 siblings, and 4 grandchildren (who she thought the world of). Her kindness and humble spirit gave comfort to many. So many friends and loved ones have poured out their heart to the family and I know they are beyond grateful. My thoughts were what better way to show our love and support than to create a place for everyone to leave a message or donation if possible. It would mean so much just to be able to help relieve at least part of this financial burden as Judy's family is navigating an incredibly difficult time.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday May 31, 2019 in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 E. Marion St., Converse, Indiana. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home and the burial will be held in Converse Cemetery, Converse, Indiana.

If you cannot give at this time, we would love to hear from all of those who knew Judy and those memories that you may have. You can also leave messages and comments for the family to read. I know they will find comfort in reading about the lives she touched and the memories others have of her. She was an incredible lady that will undoubtedly be missed.

Basil and Judy (Base and Jude as we liked to call them) were like a second set of parents to me. I was one of Jenny’s good friends (way back in High school) and they always opened their home to me, let me go to Florida with Jen, took me to Indy with them... they were/ are some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and time nor distance can ever change that. I am so very sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. Please reach out if I can help in any way.
