Melvin the 3 Legged Cat

RSDR received a message asking if they could help a cat with part of its front leg missing. The person that messaged said a street dog had done it. The vet however did not believe the story and said it was too clean of a cut for a dog to have done it. It most likely got stuck somewhere and had to pull itself out...or a human did it, which is just horrible to think about. The leg was never going to heal because he used it to help himself get around. RSDR went and picked up the poor fellow, named him Melvin and took him to the vet. All his blood tests were good. He had the operation on Wednesday 31st July. We are raising funds to pay for the operation since it was an unexpected but needed cost. The money used came out of the fund for regular care and that needs to be put back for any future emergencies.
