Melly aka Scurvy The Blind Kitty

We have gone this far, help us to continue our next rescue cases.

We are an individual rescuer. We do not have financial resources besides our own paycheck. We had accumulated such amount for trying to give Melly the best last chapter of her life.

We call her Melly aka Scurvy. She appeared out of nowhere at Tiong Bahru area. Believed to be abandoned by her owner. She was found by a catloving soul. As a concern human, they try to look for any clues if she was lost. After several tries, no respond. Melly's condition was quite bad when she was found. She does not walk like a normal cat do. Both her front paws were curled in. It was either born deformed or she was confined in a small space for sometime thus caused it. We have to thank SPCA for their effort too in Melly's case. Some may just choose to ignore her condition or some other reasons but not this kindhearted soul loving couple. Despite not being their own, they made an effort by sending Melly to a vet. From one vet, Melly was transfered to another which have more amenities. After several check on her, she was found to be diagnosed with mellitus diabetes. She was in a coma, blind and presumed brain damage (her brain shrunked) thus her motor condition deteroriate. We have to make the most decision in our life. Let her go peacefully or try harder.

Our focus was the recovery of Melly. If not full recovery, at least a quarter will do. As a believer, I chose to believe that Melly chose all involved in trying to help her. I believed some of you had encountered the same path as us.

Yes, she had left us on the 27 october 2018 @ 6.30 pm. We are all very sad with your passing. Losing a rescued feline is always tough. But we will remember you in your good times and those are memories for us to cherish 😓🐾

When you were found, you were already in a bad condition. We wanted to erased your early memories by showering you with the best love we can give. Visitors came to see you, donated what they have for you and many more efforts tried. While you chose to go to a better place call Rainbow Bridge, you can never takeaway our own memories with you. We never asked what if can we do better because we knew we did our best for you.

You may be gone but you will not be forgotten. RIP sweetie 😔🐾
