Mellissa Maher Funeral & Family expenses

Our dearly loved Mellissa (Mushy) aged 46 mother of 5 had a tough battle with cancer and passed away at Grace McKeller palliative care in the early hours of March 27th 2017. Mellissa's family is busily trying to organise a farewell for Mellissa but are in desperate need of some funds to make this happen.

I met Mellissa back in 1986, I shared my first flat with her and had some wonderful adventures with her over the years, as we grew up and went our separate ways in life will always remained friends and as her friend I would really like her to have the send of that she truly does deserve, she has faced many battles throughout her life and life has really sucked for her at times and yet it has also given her many highs especially the birth of each child.

It is unfortunate that 8 years ago Mellissa acquired a Brain Injury through illness which she worked really hard to rehabilitate from and now the battle with cancer that she has lost, and that her 5 children may never know how much she did love them and they will have to go through the rest of their lives with out their mum being around.

Any money raised over what is needed will go to the children to help support them in the coming months. I have asked for permission from a number of family members prior to setting this up and have their approval. Please give generously.
