Campaign Story
On Saturday, 25 August 2018, a cup of coffee lead me down a road that would change my life forever. I experienced severe reflux which wasn't subsiding even with the use OTC remedies. We headed to our local emergency room where doctors soon realised something was seriously wrong.
Fast forward through several days at our local hospital where I am sent for test after test and pumped full of various medications. On Thursday, 30 August 2018, I received my diagnosis of Cervical Cancer. The doctors decided to carry out more tests to ascertain the stage and have discovered the possibility of more cancer in other areas of my body.
We are still in the early stages of my journey and we have no idea of the financial implications we are about to face. I am due to go in for more testing and, hopefully, I will be put on a treatment plan so I can beat this!
I cannot face leaving behind my family and I absolutely have to beat this so I can see my daughters grow up. I cannot beat this without your help!
Any amount will help us reach our goal and allow me to go for further testing and the subsequent treatments.
