Mel (“Honey”) needs urgent pain killers

Mel is a gentle dog that was found on the street in Perafita (Portugal).  He was brutally mistreated by someone and has eye and hearing problems.  We took this poor animal to a Vet where he got the most urgent treatments.  Right now we have run out of funds to alleviate the extreme pain.  We are also looking for a permanent home, as he will probably be mistreated again if released onto the street.  But first things first.  Our animal help group has used up the available funds, the Vet is already putting up with some costs, but by next week he has to leave.  Until then he will need more medical treatment.

Please help us to save Mel (Honey in portuguese, due to his fur color).  We help a lot of animals, but this is a extreme case of brutality and we are at our limits.

Any surplus funds resulting from this fundraiser will be used towards giving Mel a permanent home. If this is not necessary, then I will inform the donors and ask for permission to use for another case of animal cruelty.
