Campaign Story
My name is Megan McDonagh and I am 16 years old, planning to travel to the Dominican Republic this Summer with Gap Medics to take part in a 2 week medical programme. Whilst I am there I will be visiting several different locations to observe and aid the delivery of essential healthcare in rural, community-focused environments. I am also planning to visit a local orphanage and provide care and support to the young children. I believe that this experience will truly benefit the well being and quality of life of others and is something that I am very proud to be a part of.
