On Friday, March 25th, our Megan lost her battle with glioblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of brain cancer. Megan was only 21 when she passed, but she had already accomplished so much. In her honor and in the spirit of continuing her work, we are establishing a scholarship fund in her name.

Megan had a passion for life that moved her to help others. She dedicated her time to the study of Sustainable Business at IU’s Kelley School of Business, helping companies develop practices that were both environmentally and fiscally responsible. She wanted to make a global impact by assisting people in underdeveloped areas and empowering them with the tools they need to alleviate their own suffering. She also strongly believed in the importance of motivating others to aid her in her cause.

At IU, Megan was a student leader in the Kelley Institute for Social Impact, served as President of Net Impact, participated on the Undergraduate Chair’s Advisory Council, and studied as both an ACE Scholar and a Herbert Presidential Scholar. Megan was passionate about making voices heard and was fluent in both American Sign Language and Spanish. After participating in a mission trip to Ecuador, she returned the following summer to continue her Spanish language training with an internship at the Quito Botanical Garden, where she fell in love with the orchids and tiger lilies. Continuing her language training and passion for helping others, last summer Megan interned at the Public Health Ministry in Seville, Spain, where she researched the use of UAVs (drones) in health emergencies

Tyler Haymore Memorial Scholarship Fund

Tyler Haymore was a husband, son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, friend, pilot & the most fun loving person we were blessed to have in our lives. We all know Tyler would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. In loving memory of Tyler Haymore we would like to start a scholarship fund in honor of him. We are working on setting up the scholarship, as that takes some time, we set up this page. We ask you to consider a donation in lieu of flowers to continue Tyler’s love and generosity. Our family would like to thank everyone for their outreach of love & support during this difficult time. Blue skies and tailwinds TyTy.
