Meet Agustin, A Two Year Old Fighting Cancer Who Needs Our Help!

Agustin, is almost two years old now, but for the last 8 months he has been traveling back and forth from his peaceful home in Monteverde Costa Rica to San Jose to receive chemotherapy treatments for retinoblastoma.

What is retinoblastoma? It is an extremely rare type of eye cancer that is very aggressive that normally occurs in small children. If treated properly, a child can maintain full vision and survive. Agustin is a fighter, but at the end of his first treatment they had to remove one of his eyes and now we are trying to raise funds so that he can travel to Argentina to seek a specialized treatment that is needed to save his other eye!

This fundraiser is for my best friend's son. I am asking you all to help me raise the funds his family needs to continue Agustin's treatment. We are doing many local fundraising efforts, but it will take many helping hands and so I am reaching out to all of you. My best friend, Marco, is a hardworking, generous and dedicated father who has done everything to help his son. Let us join our efforts to give a little of what we all can to make sure this boy continues to thrive!
