Medicine, clothing, and toys for Venezuelan kids.

Venezuela is facing a deep economic and political crisis, resulting in a shortage of medicine, food, clothing among other basic necessities, that brought the country to a real humanitarian emergency situation. With a large part of the population facing starvation, outbreaks of diseases (malaria, diphtheria, measles, among others) and infant/mother mortality rates have been increasing over the past years.

We want to help, this GoGetFunding page was created with the purpose of raising money to provide basic medicine, clothing, food, and toys to a very rural/low-income community in Venezuela this Christmas, our main focus will be young children in the community we grow up in.

Every small donation count, even as little as 1 Euro would buy you medication such as asthma inhaler or antibiotics, but with a minimum wage of around 5 Euros a month in Venezuela, a large part of the population is unable to afford these seemingly economic medications, let along purchase any commodities such as clothing or toys for the small children.
