Medically Homebound Book Wish

Update posted by Darla Rowan On Nov 29, 2017

Hi All, Darla Here. I am Lilly's Mom. Lilly is a 5 year old little girl who wants to publish her first story. She is medically home bound with a severe pediatric vestibular disorder that does not allow her to ride in cars. Within 5 blocks she is sick, within the first mile, she is vomiting. It does not end, it repeats every 5-6 blocks. We have basically been forced to do everything at home. She is bored. She is lonely. I home school her and try to keep things interesting by bringing in new things as often as I can. However, as of October 2017 I have been diagnosed with 2 masses in my brain. Yes, that's 2 brain tumors. Not a fun deal. This comes on the heels of squamous cells on my cervix that will require a surgery. I'm wanting to get her book published as per her wish, but my funds are horribly limited right now. What this money will be used for is: Illustrator, Self-publishing fees, and copies of the first book to use as promos while we market (money will be used for marketing as well). She has no friends her age, as they are all in school, sports & activities. When it comes to choosing between kids wanting to play with her or do things in the community, the community wins. She simply cannot compete with the mall, the park, the theater, Disney, Sea World, etc, etc. So...we are asking for your help to create the very best book, with the very best reach, that we possibly can. It would make my day to see her reach this goal. It would make her day to be able to feel her own book in her hands and to have something AWESOME to build on. Than You for reading this, considering helping her reach her goal, and bringing something wonderful into our home. Thank You, Lilly & Darla
