Campaign Story
On the 19th January I will be running the Gloucester half marathon in order to raise money for my upcoming trip to India. In February I will be venturing to India for one month to volunteer in one of Delhi's largest hospitals and in slum communities around Delhi. Considering the advances in India’s healthcare system, the majority of the population still experience poor health. This is due to a lack of awareness on health issues and the simple fact that many people cannot afford regular, if any, medical treatment. By volunteering I look forward to helping these people and it proves valuable exposing me to the medical needs around the world. I will be taking medical and sanitary products out with me so any donations will be greatly appreciated to help me make my journey to India!:)
