Healthcare Trip to Delhi, India

One of my dearest values in life is compassion. My compassion led me to what once was just a dream but now an answered prayer, nursing school. Over the last few years in school, my horizons have broadened and my eyes have opened to the need for real, authentic, and compassionate care for those around us. Physically, I viewed this need in the Indianapolis area at hospitals, nursing homes, psych wards, and throughout the community. Although I am forever grateful for those experiences, I feel a pull on my heart to branch out and view the unseen in Delhi, India. This mission is two weeks in duration filled with the opportunities of observational as well as hands on experience under the supervision of health care professionals. I am eager to bring my compassion and what I have learned thus far in school to India in hopes of impacting lives, but somehow I can already tell they will touch mine even more.
