Medical Treatment and selfsupport

Thirty years ago we found out the hard way that my husband was mentally ill (diagnosed as Schizophrenia) After realizing he could no longer work in a normal environment of work, I had to become a full time missionary which was already something I was doing. We tried dozens of treatments including internship when crisis became unbearable on the outside. These internships were extremely expensive and this dwindled any funds we were able to get. Two years ago he had cancer in his intestines and although going to free clinics there were still many medical expenses and high priced medication and exams. Now he has been diagnosed with malignant diabetic nephropathy (a progressive deterioration of his kidneys). Again more medical expenses and high priced medication and exams plus special diets and treatments which we can no longer keep up with the expenses besides our self supporting funds that have gone down terribly. We are seeking help until we can find some solution to go on being self supporting until the end comes. He is under hospice care with me as his caregiver. I caught a bad infection after an unsucessful surgery in March and it was completely open during months so I haven´t quite caught up with daily living yet. There again all outside help we can get until we are back on our feet will be quite welcome. I still do some of my mission work with the very needy in Northeast Brazil. It is quite shocking what the people I work with go through. The funds will be used for continued expenses and Final Expenses … and also to help continue with my work with the needy. We struggle to give out food baskets to needy families, hot-meals to some individuals who live in the streets but we don´t want to stop this work, but soon pass it on to someone who will have as much love for them as we do. My husband and I have been married for 46 years and are praying to reach our 50th wedding anniversary. Please help us celebrate and help the needy.
