Financial Support for Sheryl

Sheryl Mozo-Pascua is a dear friend who was in comatose due to complication after giving birth at the Mary Chiles General Hospital(Gastambide St. Sampaloc, Manila) last June, 2015. After few months in the hospital in coma, she was then transferred to their local residence in Quezon City to avoid the rising hospital bills. After more than one year, Sheryl is still bedridden, cannot communicate and move on purpose.

"Financial Support for Sheryl" fundraising campaign is our simple way of helping Sheryl and her family cope with the financial assistance for Sheryl's continuous recuperation and the family's daily needs.

Mozo said her daughter, Sheryl Mozo Pascua is now under comatose due to complication brought by the alleged malpractice of the doctors at the Mary Chiles General Hospital at the Gastambide St. Sampaloc, Manila.

Mrs. Mozo recalled that despite the wish of her daughter(Sheryl) to give birth via caesarean section, the doctor asked them to wait for two more weeks. On June 13, Pascua gave birth to a baby boy via a normal spontaneous delivery.

The baby was born healthy weighing 4.1 kg and measuring 5.4 cm. However, there is a noticeable mark because of the forcep used to pull the baby out.

On June 17, Pascua and her baby was discharged. Mozo claimed that during those times, her daughter is still swelling. The X-ray result on June 15, showed she has water in her lungs and heart swelling, which according to the doctor, can be cured via medication.

On June 20, Pascua went back to the hospital to remove the gauge in her birth canal, because of the hematoma operation caused by the mistakes of the doctor, which the latter admitted. The same day, her heart stopped for 15 minutes, but the doctors successfully revived them.

Now, she’s under coma and for her to breath properly, a tube was inserted in her throat via a hole.
