What We Are Facing

Her family need all the help they can get for her hemodialysis, medicines, lab tests etc. She was diagnosed with Cardiogenic Shock, she's 20 years old. Her heart has weakened to now only 19% ejection fraction rate. Because of this, her body is now filled with fluids. Her kidneys not functioning well thus requiring dialysis.

Note

I have created this campaign immediately as her family are really in need of help. I will update this campaign with photos and videos as soon as we get them. It's hard to get photos and videos in the Intensive Care Unit as the doctors prohibits the use of smart phones inside the ICU. Our first request to get approval from the Hospital Director was disapproved.

Events

Recently, she hasn't communicated with anyone for more than a week. Her Instagram and Twitter posts are our only way of knowing if she's been sick. Dawn of Monday, February 6, 2017, she went home to her grand parent's house. Her relatives immediately noticed something different in her. She looks swollen. Her color is pale and yellowish. As usual she said she's fine and said she's already taking medicines but her relatives already noticed she's spitting blood.

Past 12 noon, she complained of having a hard time breathing and her family immediately took her to the hospital. As per initial findings, her lungs are dilated and they had to take out fluids from her body.

After 24 hours in the ER, she was admitted to the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU). A mechanical ventilator is being used to assist in her breathing. Her blood pressure is very low requiring expensive IVs to help raise her blood pressure. After 24 hours in ER, the doctor told us about her failure to urinate and the family had to decide to go for a dialysis or not and of course the family decided to push for dialysis to save her life.
Her first dialysis session started 7PM last night (February 8, 2017).

Rough Summary of Expenses So Far
Bill for the ER - Php 25,0000 ($501)
Medicines to raise her BP (I will update with the generic names as soon as possible) - Php 950.00 x 10 x 2 = Php 28500 ($571)
Mech. Ventilator Down Payment = Php 8000 ($160)
Mech. Ventilator Rental Per Day = Php 2500 x 3 ($150)
Dialysis Down Payment = Php 10,000 ($200)
Dialysis 2nd Session (February 10, 2017) - Php 5,000 ($100).
Blood Units for Transfusion - Php 27,000

This still doesn't include other medicines, lab tests, and increasing hospital charges.

To The Donors

Please help us save her life. Please include her in your prayers as well. As early as now we would like to say Thank You.
