Medical support for Mama Rufus post seizure

One of the widows from our group suffered a seizure 2 weeks ago that has caused a blood clot on the brain, after several donations from her neighbors and family, as well as the generosity of UK donors who follow The Widow's Gift- we were able to get her to a neurosurgeon and get a CT scan for a formal diagnosis.

Mama Rufus will need to have drips and injections of medicine to treat the blood clot, and at present she is unable to sit, stand or walk as well as loosing the ability to speak at the moment. She has 5 children at home who are obviously very concerned they may loose another parent, with the eldest 19 year old currently taking on all care responsibilities for her siblings and the family home.

We are therefore raising funds to assist the family and wider community with her ongoing medical bill and any assistive equipment we may need when she is able to return home such as a wheelchair or reclining bed etc. The fund will also provide support for the children with essential food items and home help during this very traumatic time.
