Medical Support for Hariss

Our brother Hariss is suffering from vitiligo a long term problem in which his skin loses colour / peals due to death of cells (melanocytes) responsible for producing the skin pigment melanin which gives its colour and protects from damage from the sun's UV rays.

Hariss was a builder and needs your support as he cannot work under direct sun because his skin becomes very painful and could lead to skin cancer among other complications he's facing like inflammation of the iris (iritis) and partial loss of hearing (hypocrusis).

His doctors recommend pigment restoration which cost up to $150 or more per session of laser treatment and will require 20 sessions or more due to the widespread area of infected skin and this could amount to $3000 coupled with additional costs of broad spectrum lotions with sun protection factor which cost about $10 a pack would bring us to a total of approximately $4000.

The goal of treatment is to stop, slow and if possible restore some colour to the affected skin since there is no permanent cure for this condition.
