Medical Support for Christine

Hello friends!

This is Nico (and Kristina) from Manila, Philippines.

Our dear friend and sister from SFL-FFL community, Christine “Tinay” Anacta, 30 years old, is currently fighting Metaplastic breast cancer (MBC) for almost a year and this type of cancer is rare and difficult to battle.

She was scheduled for chemotherapy but it was postponed because her infection did not subside.

Late last year, she was told by her surgeons that the cancer has metastasized and operation won’t be needed at this point. It was right at that moment when she Tinay felt hopeless and helpless.

Tinay is a Fighter and until now, she is trying her best to fight and overcome her battles, medically and financially.

Today, she was brought to the hospital (some hospitals rejected her due to lack of oncologists) and luckily, one hospital was able to attend to her palliative care needs.

I'm hoping for a miracle and praying that the will of our Lord will be done for Tinay.

Tinay doesn’t want this kind of posts and she kept her medical condition from her family because as the eldest child, she felt depressed to not be able to provide for their needs anymore and that she feels she became an additional burden to her family.

But this time, I know she needs enormous financial help and prayers from friends and strangers.

I'm asking everyone to say a little prayer for her and at the same time, if you are willing to share any amount for her, I know she and her family would appreciate it regardless of the amount.
