Currently Greece is at the first stages of the COVID-19 outbreak with daily new cases. The people tested of the virus in Greece are as of today (22nd of March) only few hundreds daily.
At both Italy and Wuhan the doctors and health cares providers were infected on the first stages of the virus. It is of important to protect our medical staff so that they can continue to treat people.
Currently the supplies of the Greek health system are very low. We have contacted The Greek National Association for medicines and they have specified their needs and said they will accept our donation.
We want to help the Greek health system by providing protective googles, masks and medical protective suits. Those supplies will help Greek health providers for a short period of time until big companies are able to import and supply the system
The author of this campaign is a Greek that works in Shenzhen, China for the last 10 years. As Greeks working abroad we see it as our duty to help our country in these difficult times. We have found immediate supply of the requested material here in China. We will donate on our own and we are already collecting donations from friends and family here in China and abroad. Your donations will cover for purchasing those material and for sending them to Greece by air.
Currently we have found protective suits for 23.3 USD, googles for 2.9 USD and Kn95 masks for 1.4 USD and we are working on getting even better prices. Provided the fact that medical suits and masks can only be used 1 time we need to provide a good number in order to protect our medical staff at these critical imes.
This campaign will only last 72 hours as we plan to have the shipment done by the 30th of March if not earlier. Please share with friends. Donations go to the company Microchina Co LTD which is the company owned by the author of the campaign and will do the material purchasing. All details of the material purchased and shipped will be shared with all the tools that the platform is giving us.
