Asking for your kind-hearted help for Our Twins Medical expenses while they are on their way to complete healing and recovery.

Our Twin Maria's born last March 09,2017

Carmela (01:37am) Camilla (01:39am) they were just 28 weeks old at Their Nanay's tummy. It was so scary for us parents since there was no reason for this early delivery. Their nanay was not diabetic, hypertensive and never had UTi or any infections during pregnancy so when we were told that her cervix is already 6cm open and that we had to deliver the twins We knew we just needed to Trust God and Our OB and all the medical team that will help us deliver Our twins.

It was a successful delivery the twins weighed 1kg each and they cried just like healthy newborn babies would but since they were Premature babies they still need to be rushed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

For almost 3 days they were in Nasal canula and we were told that they had an infection that needs to be treated and that is common with premature babies but after 3 days we were told that Camilla needed to be Intubated because there were many episodes in which she cannot breathe on her own and the following day Carmela was also intubated. Further tests and observations confirmed that the twins had PDA ( whole in the heart that did not close when they were born., they also have Pulmonary Hypertension and Infections that needs treatment. The doctors (Neonatal Specialist,Neonatal Cardiologist) explained to us the situation, diagnosis and the medical management and started treatment while also trying to wean the twins off respirator so they can breathe on their own.

While treating the twins there was a complication to Camilla's kidney. She was swollen and suddenly not active at all, we had to wake her up multilple times and that was so painful and heartbreaking. even her Twin sister Carmela cries allot just to wake her up. We were told by (Neonatal Nephrologist) that she might need peritoneal dialysis if she will not respond to medications and that we have to be ready for that possibility but God is a God of Miracles and the following day Our lil Camilla peed just enough and the following days she peed allot! God saved our baby and sent us a Miracle. The possibility of dialysis was put off days after but because of this she needed new medications and still needs to be intubated. While Carmela was already extubated and was already feeding through the tube (since they cannot latch yet) days passed and Camilla got better and was also extubated and her kidneys will be rechecked in a week. However the PDA and pulmonary hypertension is still there and they have finished 3cycles of medication to close the whole in their heart so now Our only chance is Praying that after 4 weeks of life the Whole closes on their own and that they will be strong enough bigger ,heavier and stronger and that the pulmonary hypertension and all infections go away.

Just today we were told that Carmela will not be fed because her stomach is bigger than normal and needs to be checked she also vomitted a few times yesterday and last night her sodium potassium levels are also down as well as her pnuemonia is worse that last march 17,2017 and she needs IV/IG and another antibiotic for the infection.

All the medical terms are extremely overwhelming and to be honest most of the time we do not really 100 % understand.. all we know is to Pray to God to help us,send Miracles to our twins and all the babies here at NiCU and all the sick babies because only God can heal them.. and that is Why we are asking for your kind hearts to extend help to us to help us to finance our twins medical expenses we were not prepared for this storm but We are certain that With Prayers all things are possible and that God will continue healing Our twins.

Thank you for all your Prayers and please continue Praying with us that Our twins health be restored 100%.
